Slice the slider buns or rolls in half. Spread mayo on the top of each one. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Spread mixture over the mayo on each slider bun. In another shallow bowl or pie plate, place the flour. In another shallow bowl or pie plate, beat the eggs. Place the panko bread crumbs in a third shallow bowl or pie plate. Dip each slice of American cheese in the flour, then coat with the eggs, then cover with the bread crumbs. Set aside. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add enough cheese slices to fit comfortably in the skillet without crowding and cook until golden brown on both sides and melted, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside on a paper towel–lined plate to cool slightly. Repeat with remaining cheese slices. To assemble sliders , place one cheese slice on each slider bun bottom , top with a slice of tomato and some shredded iceberg lettuce . Add a dollop of special sauce , if desired , then replace slider bun tops . Serve immediately . Enjoy!
